This wind farm will be realized on the dikes around the former ‘Bouwdokken’ (‘Building Docks’ in Dutch) on the delta park of Neeltje Jans in the municipality of Veere in the province of Zeeland, the Netherlands. More than 130 GWh of electricity is generated each year.
The sustainable power is transported by OSKneT via a high-voltage cable to Goes and from there to the consumers. The wind farm has helped to build hiking trails on Neeltje Jans, and nature development projects are also being carried out on Neeltje Jans.
