Organic poultry farm De Buijserd was founded in 2004 by Piet and Bettie Baars in Hagestein, the Netherlands. They started with 18,000 hens and in 2010 their business was expanded with 18,000 hens. Poultry farming is all about the welfare of the animals. Every day the chickens go outside to enjoy the grass and the fresh air.
