This is a country estate on the edge of Flevoland (30 km from Amsterdam and Utrecht) in the Netherlands. Zonnehoeve is a mixed biological-dynamic company with arable farming and a dairy farm, a horse breeding farm and riding school, nature management, a branch for youth care, home sales of meat and an online store. Bakery Het Zonnelied established itself on the site in 1991, after Zonnehoeve had supplied the bakery with Demeter wheat for six years. Zonnehoeve does not only have an economic goal. As a company, they want to be at the heart of society. Ultimately, they have a much broader cultural goal: not just sustainable and profitable agriculture, but a sustainable society.
